If you prefer to not DIY or use CloudFlare as your DNS registrar, then this option is for you. Keep in mind that this is a BETA feature, so there will be some quirks.
Once BETA is over we will have this as an add-on for $1 a month per custom domain.
Note:
- Do not create pages/links until you connect your custom domain onto the platform.
- Your pages/links will not work if you create them before connecting your domain.
- Lastly, don't use the https protocol until we tell you because this will mess up the procedure.
- Don't create any links/pages yet as they will not work with the custom domain. You have to connect your domain first
- Go to your DNS page and create an A record for the domain/subdomain you want for your links/pages and have it direct to this IP Address: 165.232.92.92
- Create a CNAME record and have it direct to dope.link without the period at the end
- Go to the custom domain page on our platform and add your domain/subdomain with the 'http' prefix.
- We then will connect your domain to our server/application within 12 hours and activate it
- Once you see the word 'active' next to the domain name you are able to create pages/links with it
- Create a page/link and preview it. Your domain should load just fine via http

Make sure to check with a private window/tab as cache may conflict with it
- If your pages/links load fine. We are almost done. There is one more record you have to add to activate SSL
- Since the last record is unique to each domain, you will have to contact us, so we can send you the TXT record to insert to your DNS records. It should look something like this
- After you have received the last record and added it to your DNS records, change the 'http' prefix to 'https' for your domain on the dope.link custom domain page
- We will validate the changes within 12 hours
- After validation your pages/links should be loading with https
